The app is characterised by its particularly privacy-friendly design. No data is transferred to us as developers or to third parties. All processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of the app's functionality and local storage.
No locally stored data (in particular the IP address of the Hue Bridge or the token) is passed on to third parties or transferred to countries outside the EU (third countries).
For automatic detection of the Hue Bridge in the local network, a request is sent to https://discovery.meethue.com as a last resort. This service, operated by Signify (the manufacturer of Philips Hue), returns the local IP address of the bridge. According to Signify, no personal data is stored during this request.
Please note that the operator of the respective app store (e.g. Apple App Store) automatically collects certain data when you download the app (e.g. user ID, time of download, device information). This data processing is the responsibility of the app store operator. We only receive general statistics and have no influence on this processing. The data protection regulations of the respective app store operator apply. Apple (Apple Inc., One Apple Park Way, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA; or in the EU: Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland) may collect personal data when you download apps from the App Store, use them, access data provided by Apple (such as maps or address searches from Apple Maps), make in-app purchases, or similar. If you have purchased one of my apps from the Apple App Store, you can request a refund from Apple at: https://reportaproblem.apple.com/
If one of my apps offers subscriptions and you take out a subscription, you can cancel at any time during the free trial period in Apple's subscription management (https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions). This allows you to exercise your right of withdrawal and you will not be charged. Otherwise, after the trial period, the paid subscription will automatically begin with the agreed recurring term and will be renewed regularly until it is cancelled in due time.
In the EU, you can contact the EU Online Dispute Resolution Centre in the event of a dispute.

Die App zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass sie besonders datenschutzfreundlich ist. Es erfolgt keine Übertragung von Daten an uns als Entwickler oder an Dritte. Alle Verarbeitungen dienen ausschließlich der Funktion der App und der lokalen Speicherung.
Es erfolgt keine Weitergabe der lokal gespeicherten Daten (insbesondere der IP-Adresse der Hue Bridge oder des Tokens) an Dritte oder eine Übermittlung in Länder außerhalb der EU (Drittländer).
Zur automatischen Erkennung der Hue Bridge im lokalen Netzwerk wird als letzte Instanz eine Anfrage an https://discovery.meethue.com gesendet. Dieser von Signify (dem Hersteller von Philips Hue) betriebene Dienst liefert die lokale IP-Adresse der Bridge zurück. Laut Signify werden bei dieser Anfrage keine personenbezogenen Daten gespeichert.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Betreiber des jeweiligen App Stores (z. B. Apple App Store) beim Download der App bestimmte Daten automatisch erhebt (z. B. Nutzer-ID, Zeitpunkt des Downloads, Geräteinformationen). Diese Datenverarbeitung erfolgt in der Verantwortung des App Store Betreibers. Wir erhalten lediglich allgemeine Statistiken und haben keinen Einfluss auf diese Verarbeitung. Es gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen des jeweiligen App Store Betreibers. Auf diese Weise machen Sie von Ihrem Widerrufsrecht Gebrauch und es wird nichts berechnet. Andernfalls beginnt nach der Testphase automatisch das kostenpflichtige Abo mit der vereinbarten wiederkehrenden Laufzeit und verlängert sich regelmäßig, bis es fristgerecht gekündigt wird.
